Cheeky Winner
So sad to hear of Michael Winners passing. Spent an enchanting evening with him a few years ago watching Bernard Cribbins in Guys and Dolls at The National. A supreme raconteur with a cheeky boyish sense of humour that could carry him away if you weren't careful. A cheeky pinch of a bottom wasn't unusual when in his company. The stories he told me of Brando, Kirk Douglas, Oliver Reed and Wendy Craig will go with me to my grave

Such a shame so many of him will remember him for those TV ads - good that they were. Still, better to be remembered for something than not remembered.
